【 解 说 】 印 度 反 英 暴 乱 由 孟 加 拉 一 场 兵 变 触 发 ， 迅 速 蔓 延 ， 一 八 五 八 年 始 告 平 息 。
come upon 是 动 词 片 语 （ phrasal verb ） ， 有 「 偶 然 发 现 或 遇 到 」 的 意 思 ，例 如 ： i was tidying the room up when i came upon an old photo （ 我 在 收 拾房 间 ， 偶 然 找 到 一 张 旧 照 片 ） 。
fetch 一 般 解 作 「 取 来 」 ， 但 也 可 能 作 「 卖 得 （ 某 个 价 钱 ） 」 ， 例 如 ： the wine cup fetched a good price （ 那 酒 杯 卖 得 很 好 的 价 钱 ） 。
