勇 敢 的 丹 麦 人
shortly after occupying denmark, hitler decreed that all danish jews would have to wear a yellow star of david armband. his plan was foiled by the courageous and compassionate danes. within hours of the order, the armbands were being worn by danes of all religions, chief among them being king christian x, who proudly displayed it on his daily horseback rides around the capital. "i," he declared, "am my country's first jew."
as the final solution gained momentum elsewhere in europe, thousands of danish citizens mobilised one night in 1943 and ferried the country's entire jewish population across the sound to safety.

希 特 勒 占 领 丹 麦 后不 久 ， 下 令 所 有 丹 麦 犹 太 人 佩 戴 黄 色 大 卫 星 臂 章 。 但 他 的 计 划 被 见 义 勇 为 同 情 心 重的 丹 麦 人 破 坏 了 。 命 令 发 出 后 不 过 几 小 时 ， 丹 麦 人 不 论 信 奉 的 是 什 么 宗 ， 都 纷 纷 戴 上 那 星 章 ， 其 中 最 显 要 的 人 物 是 国 王 克 里 斯 蒂 安 十 世 。 他 每 天 骑 马 巡 行 首 都 ， 傲 然 展 示 臂 上 星 章 ， 声 言 「 我 是 我 国 第 一 个 犹 太 人 」 。
「彻 底 解 决 犹 太 人 」 运 动 在 欧 洲 其 他 地 方 次 第 展 开 。 一 九 四 三 年 一 个 晚 上 ， 数 以 千 计丹 麦 人 出 动 ， 用 渡 船 把 丹 麦 所 有 犹 太 裔 人 送 过 松 得 海 峡 ， 脱 离 险 境 。
【 附 注】 star of daivd 又 称 shield of david （ 大 卫 之 盾 ） ， 由 两 个 等 边 三 角 形 交 迭 而成 六 角 星 状 ， 一 八 九 七 年 成 为 犹 太 复 国 运 动 象 征 ， 二 次 大 战 时 ， 纳 粹 党 规 定 犹 太 人必 须 佩 戴 ， 以 示 羞 辱 。 今 天 的 以 色 列 国 旗 就 有 一 颗 大 卫 星 。 final solution 则 是纳 粹 党 族 灭 犹 太 人 的 政 策 。
