诺 斯 毫 不 犹 豫 ， 悄 悄 做 个 手 势 ， 叫 一 名 士 兵 随 他 走 到 敌 方 边 界 内 ， 把 那 北 越 哨 兵 打 伤 制 服 ， 然 后 像 提 一 袋 马 铃 薯 那 样 ， 带 回 大 本 营 。
【 附 注 】 quarry 可 解 作 「 猎 物 」 ， 也 可 解 作 「 采 石 场 」 。 两 个 意 思 的 quarry 来 源 不 同 ， 其 实 是 风 马 牛 不 相 及 的 两 个 字 ， 但 现 在 往 往 当 作 一 字 两 义 ， 例 如 ： （ 1 ） the hunter's quarry, a baby elephant, turned to face him （ 那 猎 人 追 猎 的 小 象 转 过 身 ， 对 他 ） 。 （ 2 ） he works in a quarry （ 他 在 采 石 场 工 作 ） 。
